Tennis student association Passing Shot in Rotterdam is organizing a tournament which will take place in the weekend of 31th of March. We would like to go there with you! Next to playing tennis there is a beercantus, themeparty, karaoke and much more! The deadline to sign up for the tournament is the 16th of March.

The NSK is the biggest student tennis event of the year with about 500 students coming together! This is a tournament in which tennis players of every level can join. This year, TC de Uithof is organising it in Utrecht.
Obviously, tennis is the main part of this weekend but besides that there will be loads of other activities during the day and of course the best parties at night.
This year, there is an extra category called ‘Champions League’ in which our two best Walhalla members will participate. This will make for some great matches to watch!
If you’re not available all weekend but you don’t want to miss it, you can also subscribe for ‘louter bier drinken’ so you can still join for just the parties on Friday and/or Saturday!
So are you the best player of your strength among students? In this weekend you will find out!

Obvius Open is an external tournament open for everyone, which takes place in Delft. The difference with other open tournament is that this tournament counts for your rating. The theme of this tournament is Apollo 11. Next to playing a lot of tennis, there are some other activities, like a Full Moon party on friday and a beercantus on saterday.
The tournament takes place on 15-17 June. The deadline to sign up is May 28th. You can use this link to sign up.

STV Qravel is organising an amazing open tournament this summer with the theme ‘Grease’. Next to the theme party on Saturday, they are organizing a barbecue, a boat tour (with drinks) and a beer olympiade. We plan on visiting Leiden together with a lot of Walhalla members! Kom een balletje slaan, een drankje doen, ff kletsen met het bestuur of gewoon lekker genieten van een potje beerpong. Heb je nu na de AID nog vragen over Walhalla en haar leden stel deze dan aan een van de aanwezige (bestuurs)leden. Achteraf zal er de mogelijkheid zijn om je in te schrijven als lid en zal er ook nog een borreltje gedaan worden in het clubhuis.
De avond zal om 19:30 beginnen en een echte eindtijd is er niet.

During racket evenings we play short tennis matches. After 30 minutes we come together and shuffle the rackets, so everyone is coupled to someone else every round. Join us to integrate with your fellow members or interested students and train your tennis skills! If 19:30 is too early for you, it is also possible to join later in the evening to play tennis matches.
Afterwards we usually drink a beer with each other. We use the blue courts next to the Bongerd during this evening because of the Wageningen open on the NVLTB courts.

De Accie’s favoriete activiteit staat weer in de planning, Beerpong Tennis! Het veld is de tafel, tonnen in plaats van bekers en er word natuurlijk met het racket geslagen en gemikt. Schrik niet je hoeft geen hele ton te adten, daarvoor zijn gewone bekers aanwezig. Ben jij altijd al koning beerpong geweest en denk je: op een tennisbaan ben ik net zo goed al dan niet beter? Schrijf je dan nu in!
Er zal worden gespeeld op de blauwe banen bij de bongerd, dus niet bij de nvltb! We zullen beginnen rond 20:00. Voor zij die liever geen bier drinken zijn er natuurlijk ook alternatieven aanwezig. Naderhand zal er een borreltje gedaan worden in het clubhuis van de nvltb en daarna nodigen wij iedereen uit om mee te gaan naar een open feest.
The activitycommission’s favorite activity is coming up once again, Beerpong Tennis! Using the field as a make-shift table, rain-barrels as redcups and a racket in stead of a throwing arm. Don’t be alarmed you won’t have to down an entire barrel of beer, we use regular cups for drinking. Have you always been an ace at beerpong and do you have enough confidence that you can recreate those skills on a tennis court? Then subscribe now!
We will play on the blue bongerd courts, not at the nvltb. We will start at around 20:00. For those that would rather drink something else than beer there will be other drinks available. Afterwards we would like to invite everyone for a drink at the clubhouse of the nvltb and we would like to invite everyone to join us in going to an open party that evening.
