SUBCRIPTIONS FOR THE OPEN EVENING CLOSE AT 13:00 ON THE DAY ITSELF!
This is the event for September 2nd, there is another one for August 30th!
In the first week of the academic year, there are two open evenings at Walhalla: on Monday and Thursday. If you’re interested in playing tennis or are just looking for some fun and meeting new people, you should come to our open evening!
This evening, we will play some tennis and you’ll get to feel the atmosphere of Walhalla and the bar. Because of COVID-19, the amount of people that can come to the open evening is restricted, therefore we are asking you to sign up in advance so we can regulate this. After signing up, you will get assigned to a time slot in which you can come to the Walhalla courts (so not the blue ones of the Bongerd), at our clubhouse behind the sport halls. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or an experienced player, we will keep this in mind when dividing you into groups.
The open evening is there to show you our association and to answer all your questions. Signing up for the open evening does not mean that you sign up as a member (but we hope you will do so afterwards ofcourse!).
During the Open Evening, there will be timeslot (due to corona measures). Please indicate in the form for which time slots you are available. You will be able to play some tennis, and have drinks on our terrace.
If you can, please bring your own racket, because there will only be a limited amount of rackets available.

The racketevening is a fun way to play some tennis, meet fellow members and grab a drink with eachother after playing (you can also come by when you won’t play tennis). You play doubles for rounds of half an hour, after which the rackets will be tossed to form new pairs. The first shift starts at 20:00, but you can come and go whenever you like. If you have any questions during the evening, you can go to the people behind the bar, they will be happy to help you!
This evening, the TEIT and TP students will learn everything about the rules that should be known to play tennis (both gameplay and social rules). Furthermore, a tour around the Toko will be given this evening as well. The evening will be held online, probably via Microsoft Teams.
After this program, there will be a slightly altered racket evening, since there will be held a tournament on the courts we normally use. Further information can be found in the WhatsApp groups.

This evening, the current board of Walhalla will make room for the new Board during the ALV. Furthermore, several other matters will be discussed during this evening.
On Thursday, another activity will be organized: The Crazy 69! This evening you will gather around with your TEIT group to work on several quests (69 in particular) and complete as much as possible. It will be a fun night!

The Accie will organize a fun activity for all members of Walhalla: The beer minigames! In these minigames you will be randomly placed into a team. Together you play against other teams in a few different games like beerpong tennis, flunkyball and many more! Sign up via the form below for this fun activity!

Deze avond staat in het thema van de vele commissies die Walhalla heeft. Op de toko zullen alle commissies zichzelf voorstellen om zo de leden te informeren, en te motiveren om bij een commissie te gaan. Kom gerust een kijkje nemen op deze gezellige avond!
Verder zal er na de kermis een gewone raketavond plaatsvinden.
