De pepernoten liggen weer in de winkel, op de radio zijn weer kerstliedjes te horen en hier en daar zie je weer een oliebollenkraam tevoorschijn komen. Dat betekent maar één ding, het is tijd voor cadeautjes, gezelligheid en lekker eten. Kom daarom op woensdag 5 december samen met de Accie sinterkerstennieuw vieren bij de NVLTB. De leden van de Accie zullen weer een culinair hoogstandje aan u voorschotelen en na dit koningsmaal zullen er verschillende spelletjes worden gespeeld waarbij cadeautjes centraal staan.
De activiteit begint om 19:00 en zal 5 euro kosten. Daarnaast willen wij iedereen verzoeken om een paar cadeautjes mee te nemen om de spelletjes mee te spelen. Het is leuk als iedereen een wat leuker en een wat minder leuk ingepakt cadeautje meeneemt zodat je nooit weet waar je mee naar huis gaat. Geef niet te veel geld uit aan deze cadeautjes want uiteindelijk gaat het meer om een leuke avond hebben dan dat je naar huis gaat met iets waardevols.
The end of the year is coming up which means that a lot of festivities will be taking place. Sinterklaas will be stopping by, santa is preparing to make his trip around the world and everyone is making themselves ready for 2019. We from the Accie wanted to do something to commemorate these events so we decided to make a dinner for every member to join in on. Afterwards we will be playing some games in which gifts will play a prominent role. The activity will take place on the 5th of December.
The activity will start at 19:00 and will cost 5 euros. We would also like to ask everyone to bring some gifts so we can play the games after the dinner. Try to bring a nice gift as well as a bit of a prank gift. Be sure to wrap them so no one can see what’s inside of the package, you wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise, right? Please don’t spend too much money on these gifts since in the end it’s more about enjoying a nice evening than going home with something way too valuable.

From 27-30 December Veracket Winter Open Doubles Tournament takes place! It is the second biggest tournament of T.C. Veracket and there will be parties and good games! What is best to overcome the boreness between Christmas and New Years Eve? Yes that is right, playing tennis and having some drinks at the good parties!
As the name says it, you have to play doubles. So, if you want to come, find yourself a double partner and sign up.

On Wednesday 23 January the Accie organizes a squash tournament for Walhalla members. The participants will be playing short games against differrent opponents to determine the best squasher of Walhalla. The squash tournament will start at 21:00. There are only 24 places so you have to be fast with your regestration!
No Fields Found.In Rotterdam, the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament will take place again during 9-17 February 2019. This year, amazing players will join such as Nick Kyrgios, Marin Cilic and Grigor Dimitrov.
Last year we joined with some Walhalla members and saw two matches, one in which Federer was playing! It was truly an amazing night and was very well organized by Passing Shot, the student tennis association of Rotterdam.
After the two matches Passing Shot will organize a big party where all students can join. Sleeping places can be arranged by them for a small fee.
If you happen to have an exam on Friday February 15, it’s also possible to just watch the matches and return home and so skipping the party. 🙁

At about 19.30, the first match will start. After the second match we can join the party in Rotterdam!

The Externcie is organising yet another invitation tournament! It will be held in the 4th period.
For the people who have never participated in the tournament, the idea is to bring a non-Walhalla member with you as double partner and play a few matches. It is more fun of course, if you bring someone who has not had a lot of experience with tennis. Afterwards we will get some drinks in the clubhouse.
We are very excited and hope that we will see a lot of your faces. Maybe also some new faces that potentially want to join Walhalla!

Want to work on your New Year’s resolutions? Join us to the open tournament SET in Nijmegen! This tournament organized by Slow takes place at 22th till 24th of February. There will be two nights of partying, a beercantus and of course we will be playing tennis matches.
It is a double tournament, so find yourself a double partner and sign up here before February 10th.
If you don’t want to play tennis, there is also a possibility to only join the parties and cantus! So there are no excuses! 😉

Auf dem 27. Februar organisieren WaHo und GTC Walhalla zum ersten Mal eine Party zusammen. Und das Thema ist Après Ski! So kommen sie allen in dein schönstes Apres-Ski-Kostüm und feier die Party mit uns!
Dat de leden van walhalla wel een balletje kunnen slaan dat is natuurlijk algemeen bekend, maar hoe staat het met de gooi skills? Om hierachter te komen is het de hoogste tijd voor een bierpongtoernooi! Daarom zal woensdag 6 maart de spannendste competitie ooit plaatsvinden. Dus denk jij dat je de titel van bierpongking/queen op je naam mag gaan zetten? Of is het de hoogste tijd dat je bierpongvaardigeden wat vooruit gaan? Schrijf je dan nu in!
