SET (Slow Extern Toernooi) is het Nijmeegse open toernooi voor alle studententennisverenigingen van Nederland. Hier doen jaarlijks zo’n 200-250 studenten aan mee en naast 3 dagen tennissen zijn er ook veel activiteiten naast de baan, zoals de welbekende Beer-olympics voor teams, 2 feestavonden en natuurlijk een grote cantus. Dit jaar is het thema “Pilsen als een Piraat”. We gaan met veel drank op de loopplank, uit volle borst meezingen met de beste zeeliederen, vechten om de mooiste schat van het nachtleven en onze tenniskwaliteiten naar de haaien zien gaan. Om aan boord te komen van deze driedaagse piratencruise kun je je vanaf 21 november inschrijven als volwaardig matroos via Toernooi.nl en verzeker je je van een plekje op het dek. Dus ga op de uitkijk staan, zet deze data in je reisverslag en zorg dat je het meemaakt!

T.S.T.V. Lacoste uit Tilburg organiseert hét legendarische toernooi LUST, dat zal plaatsvinden op 16 t/m 18 maart met als thema ‘The Romans’. LUST staat voor Lacoste Uitwisseling Studenten Tennistoernooi en dat betekent ook dit jaar dat de organisatie je koppelt aan een partner (meestal van een andere vereniging). LET OP: schrijf je dus zonder partner in! Ze willen er zo voor zorgen dat leden van verschillende verenigingen nader tot elkaar komen.
Vrijdag begint het toernooi en wordt er een themafeest georganiseerd met als thema ‘The Romans’. Zaterdag is dan eindelijk de dag waarop de legendarische LUST biercantus zal plaatsvinden. Natuurlijk worden er tijdens het toernooi een hoop activiteiten georganiseerd rondom de banen.

Tennis student association Passing Shot in Rotterdam is organizing a tournament which will take place in the weekend of 31th of March. We would like to go there with you! Next to playing tennis there is a beercantus, themeparty, karaoke and much more! The deadline to sign up for the tournament is the 16th of March.

The NSK is the biggest student tennis event of the year with about 500 students coming together! This is a tournament in which tennis players of every level can join. This year, TC de Uithof is organising it in Utrecht.
Obviously, tennis is the main part of this weekend but besides that there will be loads of other activities during the day and of course the best parties at night.
This year, there is an extra category called ‘Champions League’ in which our two best Walhalla members will participate. This will make for some great matches to watch!
If you’re not available all weekend but you don’t want to miss it, you can also subscribe for ‘louter bier drinken’ so you can still join for just the parties on Friday and/or Saturday!

Obvius Open is an external tournament open for everyone, which takes place in Delft. The difference with other open tournament is that this tournament counts for your rating. The theme of this tournament is Apollo 11. Next to playing a lot of tennis, there are some other activities, like a Full Moon party on friday and a beercantus on saterday.
The tournament takes place on 15-17 June. The deadline to sign up is May 28th. You can use this link to sign up.
